Magnificent home of The Marquis of Waterford and his ancestors since 1170. Outstanding Arboretum. Interior of house contains exceptionally fine plasterwork. Grounds include bridge built in 1205 for King John to cross River Clodagh and unique shell grotto built and personally decorated by Catherine Poer, Countess of Tyrone in 1754.

Opening Times
Open from Easter to September 30th (see above). October to Easter, viewing by appointment only. We now have a tea room please call for tea room opening hours. Guided tours at 11AM & 2PM from Wednesday to Sunday. Group tours by prior arrangement. Open during Heritage Week.
