Longueville House situated in the heart of a 500 acre wooded estate Working Farm and Gardens overlooking the Blackwater River Valley, famous for it’s Salmon and Brown Trout fishing. The house, a listed Heritage Georgian Manor (1720), is owned and managed by the O’Callaghan Family - your hosts. The Presidents’ Restaurant is truly the heart of Longueville where guests partake of the fresh produce from the Estate’s Farm, Gardens & River, lovingly prepared by Chef William O’ Callaghan. A walk to shoot has been established during the months of Nov-Jan, inclusive on the grounds. Pheasant, Wild Duck, Woodcock and Snipe shooting available. Longueville provides an atmosphere and setting ideal as a venue for residential wedding parties, business meetings and prestigious events.
Longueville House is a 1720 Georgian mansion set on a 500 acre wooded estate. A large proportion of the produce comes from the gardens, farm & river on the estate. The readers of the Food & Wine magazine voted Longueville House country house of the year for 2003. It is the only establishment in Ireland to hold the highest status, for both accommodation & food by the Bridgestone Guide 2003.
