The awe inspiring Giants Causeway is Northern Ireland's sole World Heritage Site and can be found in County Antrim, around 2 miles north of Bushmills.

The most photographed feature in the whole of of Norhern ireland, The Giants Causeway is the end product of a volcanic eruption creating tens of thousands of interlocking, mostly hexagonal, basalt columns forming a magical staircase from the cliff top to the sea.

This unusual natural phenomonen was discovered in 1693 and it was believed at the time to have been created by either a giant, men with chisels and picks or perhaps by nature itself.

To this day travellers and tourists come from far and wide to witness this most famous area of outstanding natural beauty in Northern Ireland.
