Midway up the west coast of Ireland is County Galway, the second largest county in Ireland and one of Ireland’s most popular and vibrant destinations. The delightful university city of Galway, Southern Ireland's third largest with Limerick, is brimming with activity; theatre, Irish music, pubs, restaurants, horse racing and above all, the people of Galway, all play a part in this atmospheric city of culture.

The rest of the county beats from the pulsating heart of Galway City. Drive out to Connemara National Park, Galway Bay, Clifden, The Aran Islands - they’re all worth a visit. For the more energetic there are plenty of outdoor activities with angling, golf, riding and cycling readily available without forgetting the traditional games of hurling and Gaelic football.
